Community Outreach

For nearly 50 years, we’ve made it our top priority to show the utmost respect for our clients, their homes, and the environment. But we also know the importance of showing respect for our community, which has been instrumental to our success for so many years.

9/11 Memorial

Sudbury, MA

“The events of September 11, 2001 impacted not only our country, but also our community. On that day, the Town of Sudbury lost three beloved residents. Our community vowed never to forget the lives of these residents or the tragic events of September 11th.”

– Sudbury Town Crier

Sudbury Design Group provided design services for the Memorial Garden along with labor and construction materials. The Memorial Garden features flowering plants and trees, three bluestone benches, and a commemorative center stone of Sudbury granite with engraved bronze plaques.

Featherland Park

Sudbury, MA

Sudbury Design Group donated their time and professional expertise to develop a master landscape plan for field expansion and improvements, including fundraising, obtaining permits and project management.

Fairbanks Community Center

Sudbury, MA

Sudbury Design Group helped to transform a renovated elementary school into an active and robust community center. We developed a master plan for the entire site, which included parking, walkways, recreation areas, planting and lighting. Mike Coutu worked with numerous town boards and committees, led the fundraising campaign, and managed the overall project.

Bristol Art Museum

Bristol, RI

Sudbury Design Group offered landscape architectural services in an effort to help spearhead the capital campaign for the new Bristol Art Museum and historic restoration of the grounds at Linden Place. Our intent was to work in collaboration with the museum architect to ensure that the surrounding spaces of the proposed building function properly as a museum, while maintaining the integrity of the historical district.
